this is a collection of songs i wrote when i fell in love for the first time.
Although most (maybe all?) were written between November 2014 and late June of 2015, not all of them were formally written ~
'the bad karma ya can't burn off' is an excerpt of a recording i made on my phone on december 19th, 2014. that one is clearly disjointed/mostly moaning/whining bc it was meant to be a sort of improv diary entry to get my yearning out.
'what it was like' is the chorus of a song i wrote that i love very much but is just too mortifying to fully release to this pale blue earth!! instead i opted for a half-caf humiliation--just the juicy stuff, plus a lot of uke chaos. by the end, it really represented what my sophomore year of high school was (consider it a summary)! i think it's my favorite.
